Foreign Worker Recruitment

We help Canadian employers Source, Identify and Pre-Screen needed qualified workers. Qualified workers come from a cross-section of industries:

  • Oil and Gas Drilling and Servicing, to name a few

Labour Market Impact Assessment

Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that gives Canadian employers the clearance to offer jobs to foreign workers. Service Canada issues to the employer a Confirmation Letter when the LMIA is approved. We help Canadian employers obtain a Positive LMIA by doing the following for the employer:

  • Job Advertisement
  • Documentation and submission of application
  • Communication / Coordination with Service Canada

One Stop has experience in communicating with Service Canada on LMIAs and knows what is required for a successful completion that can save a tremendous amount of time and effort for the employer.

Work Permit

Work permit lets a foreign national to legally and temporarily work in Canada. He may apply for a work permit at any time before entering Canada.

Work Permit Extension

A foreign worker is allowed to extend or renew his work permit for a period of time that adds up to a maximum of four years of work in Canada

Federal Skilled Worker Program

We evaluate the background and qualifications of the applicant-client and give recommendation on the suitable Canadian Immigration program for him and his family members become permanent residents of Canada. One of the Immigration Programs that we offer that allows clients to live and work permanently in Canada is the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

An applicant is evaluated based on the prevailing Selection Criteria and points system promulgated by the Ministerial Instructions. The applicant must have at least one year of continuous full-time paid work experience or continuous part-time equivalent work. Aside from work experience, applicant’s education, official language proficiency, age, offer of indeterminate occupation, immediate relative in Canada, and if applicable, the spouse’s/partner’s official language proficiency, work experience and studies in Canada are factors that are considered in evaluating the eligibility of the applicant to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

Federal Skilled Trades Program

We evaluate the background and qualifications of the applicant-client and give recommendation on the suitable Canadian Immigration program for him and his family members become permanent residents of Canada. One of the Immigration Programs that we offer that allows clients to live and work permanently in Canada is the Federal Skilled Trades Program.

An applicant may become a permanent resident of Canada based on his qualifications as a skilled tradesperson. Aside from meeting the required level of official language proficiency, having at least 2 years of full-time work experience or equivalent part-time work experience in a skilled trade, and meeting all job requirements in that skilled trade as stated in the National Occupational Classification (NOC), he must have a valid job offer of full-time employment in that skilled trade or a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade from the provincial or territorial body.

Provincial Nominee Program

We evaluate the background and qualifications of the applicant-client and give recommendation on the suitable Canadian Immigration program for him and his family members become permanent residents of Canada. One of the Immigration Programs that we offer that allows clients to live and work permanently in Canada is the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

PNP provides a quicker way and more options for applicants to immigrate to Canada. Each province establishes its own PNP criteria and requirements and if applicants satisfied these criteria, the provincial government nominates the applicant to the federal government for permanent residency.

Canadian Experience Class

We evaluate the background and qualifications of the applicant-client and give recommendation on the suitable Canadian Immigration program for him and his family members become permanent residents of Canada. One of the Immigration Programs that we offer that allows clients to live and work permanently in Canada is the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

If an applicant has worked with proper authorization in Canada for at least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time work in a skilled work under National Classification 0, A and B, he may become a permanent resident of Canada based on his Canadian experience.

Family Sponsorship

A Canadian citizen or a permanent resident living in Canada can sponsor close family members living abroad.

Study Permit

A foreign national may study in Canada and be given a study permit. To be eligible, he must have been accepted by a school, college, university or other educational institution in Canada.

TFW Settlement Assistance

We ensure that clients get settled in Canada. We, together with the employer:

  • Welcome and pick up workers at the airport
  • Check if comfortable accommodation is provided by the employer
  • Accompany worker to his workplace, apartment and community
  • Assist in application for SIN, provincial health card, Bank Account and or Driver’s License
